UPDATE: Man killed in crash with semi identified

OUTAGAMIE CO., Wis. (WBAY) -- One person is dead after a crash on Saturday involving a semi in Outagamie County.

The Outagamie County Coroner confirmed with Action 2 News that Rodger Kloehn, 69 of Green Bay, died in the crash.

The Outagamie County Sheriff's office says the two vehicle crash happened on STH 55 north of CTH J in the Town of Osborn at about 10:10 a.m.

Officials say the driver of the car traveling south on STH 55 crossed the center line and struck a northbound semi.

The sheriff's office says Kloehn was trapped inside the car and died at the scene.

The 60-year-old man from the Seymour area, who was driving the semi, was treated for minor injuries and released at the scene.

Deputies say both drivers were wearing seatbelts.

Officials say the car that crashed into the semi, struck a fuel tank causing fuel to spill.

The road was closed for most of the day while authorities attended to the crash.
