NEENAH, Wis. (WBAY) - Neenah High School students got into the holiday spirit Tuesday throwing senior adults a Christmas party.
Students went up and down the hallways of American Grand Assisted Living, singing Christmas carols.
The holiday festivities also included Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and crafts.
Students have been spending time with residents on a weekly basis since September.
"We wanted to bring joy to them because they don't really get much company, because the families don't always get to come here and enjoy Christmas. They don't get to come out here and enjoy Christmas as much, so we wanted to bring Christmas to them," tenth-grader Allyson Koehnke said.
Students say the best part of throwing the party was seeing the smiles on people's faces.
