Milwaukee man sentenced to 16 years in prison for overdose death

FOND DU LAC CO., Wis (WBAY) -- A man was sentenced in Fond du Lac County court on Tuesday to 16 years in prison for the heroin overdose death of Gary Van Norman.

According to the Fond du Lac County District Attorney, Stephen SD Jordan of Milwaukee will serve 10 years initial confinement and 6 years extended supervision for first degree reckless homicide for his involvement in the overdose death.

According to investigators, Jordan along with others, were engaged in a complex concerted effort to market and sell heroin and cocaine in southeast Wisconsin in 2015.

That lead to the overdose death of Van Norman on September 15, 2015.

Jordan was found guilty after he entered a no contest plea on May 1.
