Manitowoc Police offering reward for information on vehicle break-ins

MANITOWOC, Wis. (WBAY) -- The Manitowoc Police Department is offering a reward of up to $500 for information about vehicle thefts and break-ins over the weekend.

Police say break-ins have occurred in various neighborhoods throughout the city in recent days.

In most cases the vehicles were unlocked, but one vehicle was broken into while parked in an unlocked garage.

In some cases the vehicles were also egged.

The police department is reminding people to lock their vehicles, garages, and remove any valuables.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 920-683-4466.

Authorities say the incidents have occurred in the following places:

• 1200 block Green Street
• 500 block Pine Street
• 800 block Shorewood Blvd.
• 1000 block N. 20th St.
• 1000 block N. 6th St.
• 4500 block Broadway St.
• 1700 block Revere Dr. (3 different vehicles in this location)
