OCONTO COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) - Phone service for landline customers was restored Monday night around 8 p.m., the Oconto County Sheriff's Office says.
Nsight Telservices says a fiber optic line was cut by a utility company Monday morning, leaving some people in Oconto without landline phone service.
The outage impacted customers with 834 and 835 exchanges.
This included the Oconto County Sheriff's Office and local schools.
Cell phone service was not affected.
