LEGO lovers flock to Bay Beach

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) -- There's a second attraction at Bay Beach this weekend, but this one is made out of LEGOs.

Lego event

The LEGO display is hosted by the Kenosha LEGOs or KLUG, a group made of adult LEGO lovers.

The group puts on LEGO displays for the public, using thousands of LEGOS.

There were also LEGO building contests.

Members of the KLUG say its the creativity behind the LEGO displays that really intrigue people.

"The fact that you start with these little square blocks, and you can make them into these amazing forms. You can make sculptures, mosaics, pieces of art. You can make mechanical devices that do amazing things. I think just the creativity that goes into it, I think people are astounded by that," said Scott Vandeleest, a member of KLUG.

The LEGO event is open Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Admission is 50 cents.
