Kids becoming "water scientists"

APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) - There are new, hands-on exhibits at the Paper Discovery Center in Appleton teaching kids just how much “stuff” is in water.

The exhibit is also aimed at teaching kids about issues of water conservation and sustainability and how easy it is to make a difference.

Mike Breza, Lead Educator at the Paper Discovery Center, says, "Clean water is like the basic foundation for life. If we don't realize that and we don't wash our hands well enough, we can spread germs and diseases and it's really something we should all be aware about."

The Paper Discovery Center’s “Summer Series” runs until September first.
