FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WBAY) - Fond du Lac's historical Hotel Retlaw is expected to open later this summer.
As Action 2 News has reported, plans to renovate the 1923 hotel were announced last April. However, funding for the $25 million project caused some delays.
The hotel says it will open to the public later this summer with 127 newly renovated guest rooms available. No specific date was offered.
A signature restaurant, espresso cafe, wine bar and luxury spa were also part of the renovations.
The hotel estimates it will bring 35,000 travelers to downtown Fond du Lac each year and create 150 hospitality jobs.
Rates will vary by season, but leisure rates start at $109 per night.
