GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Another lawsuit has been filed against the owners of Hotel Northland in Green Bay.
ALG Northland Management LLC based in Oregon claims a breach of contract and is asking for at least $200,000 in damages in the lawsuit filed April 26.
The firm says it was hired to provide technical services to the hotel before it opened and manage the hotel once it did open.
Court documents allege they were not paid for the pre-opening services and Hotel Northland announced someone else will be managing the hotel.
There was uncertainty about who owned the hotel after a senior lender backed out, until a Brown County judge ironed out the ownership question last month -- 12 days before the lawsuit was filed.
Keith Harenda and his company hope to have the hotel in downtown Green Bay open in the fall after announcing they secured a new senior lender. That lender hasn't been publicly named.
