Vanity light fixtures sold through The Home Depot are being recalled after more than 100 reports of the light shades falling on people, causing cuts and burns.

The Comotti vanity light fixtures by Design Solutions International were sold under the Home Decorators Collection. They have either three or four chrome-colored glass shades with clear acrylic ball strands surrounding a halogen light. The wall plate is reflective stainless steel.

More than 64,000 were sold through The Home Depot stores and website since December 2014 for $95 to $110.

The company has reports of a person suffering a cut to the head and a burn to the arm from the falling hot light shade. Another person suffered a cut to the leg.

Owners of these light fixtures should contact Design Solutions International for free light shades and instructions on how to replace the defective shades.
