ATLANTA (WBAY) - Is flu season finally winding down?

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has improved Wisconsin's status from high to moderate on its national map.

Health officials say the number of states reporting a high number of flu symptoms dropped from 43 to 39 since last week.

The CDC isn't ready to say flu season has peaked -- this might be a lull -- but it says the downturn is encouraging.
