GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - A Green Bay woman's tree will dazzle fans at Lambeau Field this Christmas and holiday season.
Stephanie Wendt is donating her spruce tree for the 12th Annual Festival of Lights.
Wendt's father, a lifelong Packers fan who attended the Ice Bowl, planted the tree.
The spruce will be harvested on Monday, Dec. 4 and put up on Harlan Plaza. The tree will be decorated with more than 10,000 lights.
The Festival of Lights is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 9, 5-7 p.m. It's free to the public and includes family-friendly events in the Atrium.
At 6:30 p.m., the ceremony goes outside for the official lighting of the tree.
Volunteers will collect toys and donations for Toys for Tots.
Stephanie Wendt will receive four tickets to the Dec. 23 Packers-Vikings game.
