GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) -- A Green Bay trucking company gave big on Wednesday to the Green Bay Police Department and Green Bay Metro Fire Department.
Contract Transport Services donated two cents for every loaded mile the specially wrapped trucks hauled last year.
They presented police and firefighters with a total of nearly $5,000 split between the departments.
"You know, before I even moved here, I was told Green Bay is a city with a really big heart. And I see that as a chief every single day," said Police Chief Andrew Smith.
"People in Green Bay are just wonderful, community oriented people and take really good car of their policemen and firemen," said Fire Chief David Litton.
The police department is using the money for community policing programs while firefighters will use the money for paramedic training.
