Green Bay Botanical Garden lights a 5-story Christmas tree

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Another sign of the holiday season is now alight at the Green Bay Botanical Garden.

Monday night, a ceremony was held for lighting a five-story Christmas tree for the WPS Garden of Lights.

The steel and aluminum tree is adorned with 20,000 LEDs.

The Garden of Lights event boasts more than 250,000 lights and miles of extension cords.

This is the 21st year for the winter holiday exhibit. It officially opens Friday, Nov. 24, and runs through Saturday, Dec. 30.
