Four people hurt after boat crashes along the Fox River

Brown County, Wis. (WBAY) – Officials say one man is in the hospital with serious injuries and three others were hurt after a boat crash along the Fox River.

The Brown County Sheriff’s Office said it happened just after 8:30 p.m Saturday night near the Leo Frigo Memorial Bridge. Officials found the boat at the north side of the Cat Island breakwall about 100 yards west of the shipping channel.

The boat had struck the breakwall and came to rest on the gravel road above it.

Officials say three males and one female was transported to the hospital. One male had serious injuries and remained in the hospital while the others are expected to be okay.

The sheriff’s office said it believes speed and alcohol are believed to be contributing factors of the crash.
