Fireworks recalled due to sudden explosions

WISCONSIN (WBAY) - A certain TNT fireworks have been recalled in a few states including Wisconsin.

The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled the TNT Red, White, & Blue Smoke fireworks.

They said the fireworks can explode at any time after being lit causing burns and injury.

The fireworks were sold in a bag containing three canisters and the commission said they have had three incidents reported, resulting in burns.

The recalled fireworks were sold at: Albersons, Kroger, Meijer, Target, Wal-Mart and other retailers in Illinois, Ohio, Vermont and Wisconsin from May 2017 through June 2017. They were sold for about $5.
