FOX CITIES, Wis. (WBAY) -- The Salvation Army of the Fox Cities held its annual Christmas toy shop and "Adopt-a-Family" gift distribution on Wednesday.
Thousands of toys were donated throughout the past couple of weeks to help children and families in need have a merrier Christmas.
The Salvation Army has been distributing the gifts to kids over the last two days.
"It is wonderful to see all the families pitching in and working together. The volunteers, those who are in need, it's a great time to see the smiles and the faces," said Major, David Minks.
The Adopt-a-Family program supported 485 families in need this year.
