UPDATE: Power restored overnight near Berlin, Wis.

BERLIN, Wis. (WBAY) -- Alliant Energy is reporting that about 1,135 customers in the Berlin area have their power back on after an outage Monday night.

Wind chills dipped far below zero Monday night.

The Waushara County Sheriff's office says a power pole snapped, leading to the outage.

The DOT reported State Highway 49 north of Berlin was closed while crews replaced the pole.

Alliant reports power was fully restored by 1:00 Tuesday morning.
