Cobb could miss start of Training Camp with ankle injury

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Aaron Rodgers could start Training Camp without one of his veteran targets. Green Bay Packers Receiver Randall Cobb was spotted by Milwaukee Journal Sentinel writer Michael Cohen at the airport wearing a walking boot on his right ankle.

Cobb told JS Online the boot was “temporary” but did not say whether he underwent surgery or how the injury happened.

Cobb was among the 16 veterans excused from Packers Minicamp practices two weeks ago. The Packers are expected to be cautious in returning Cobb to the practice field when Training Camp begins next month according to Cohen.
