MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (WBAY) - It appears Badgers backs are the best backs in the business. The Eagles have Corey Clement and the Patriots have James White going toe-to-toe to earn a Super Bowl ring.
"RB-U!" Clement sadi. "That's RB-U to us. Shout out to the U-W. Wisconsin all day. Here we are."
"My days with the Badgers, I just miss being around my teammates," White said. "I have a lot of good friends from college. Still talk to them to this day. Some of the best times in your life come in college. Getting those wins and playing in Rose Bowls."
We caught up with another former Badgers running back, Melvin Gordon III to weigh in on his former teammates.
"They are exciting," Gordon said. "Both have great vision. Both can catch out of the backfield and both are excited to be there and get that title, man. It's going to be amazing. You know to see both of them there. It's dope. I only wish I could be there."
What sets each one apart?
"I think Corey might be a little bit better at short yardage," Gordon said. "It's kind of hard to say. They don't really give James that many opportunities but I think James could be just as good at short yardage if he had the opportunities. I think James is a little bit better in the passing game if you want to say that much but Corey don't get as many opportunities as James in that area either."
It's hard to imagine White having a better Super Bowl than the one he had last year with a Super Bowl record 14 catches and a Super Bowl record 20 points. Three touchdowns and a 2-pointer too.
