The Brewers will send minor league right handed pitcher Tayler Scott to the Rangers in exchange for Jeffress, per New York Post writer Joel Sherman.
Jeffress was dealt to the Rangers last August along with catcher Jonathan Lucroy in exchange for minor league pitcher Luis Ortiz and outfielder Lewis Brinson who remains the Brewers top prospect.
So far this season with Rangers, Jeffress isn't putting up the same number he did a season ago. In 40 innings, he has a 5.31 ERA while last season with the Brewers, he posted at 2.22 ERA in 44 and 2/3 innings.
The Brewers drafted Jeffress in the first round of the 2006 MLB Draft.
