The current exhibition features three new shows. “Apparatus for a Dream Sequence” by sculptor Anna Campbell explore social constructions, lived experience, and the labor of constructing a utopian future through fine craftsmanship and found objects. “Art of the Book” features works from the Seeley G. Mudd Library’s Art of the Book Collection. “Unto Itself: New work by Zina Mussmann” features more than two dozen works consisting of watercolor, gouache, ink and graphite on white paper from her 2016 series “Automata.” Hours: Tue.-Fri. 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.; Sat.-Sun. noon – 4 p.m.; closed Mondays. Free and open to the public.
Mile of Music Presents: Fifth Friday Funk! THREE Mile of Music Festival favorites will take the stage as part of a special, funky showcase on Friday, March 30 at 7 p.m.
FEATURING: Porky's Groove Machine, Kyle Megna and The Monsoons, and Feed the Dog Duo feat. Ellis M Brown and Tim McIlree. It's all about celebrating funk (and a little bit of folk), AND new music from these fan favorites.
The fun-filled Friday will feature Porky's tunes you've grown to love, PLUS new, never-before-heard tracks off their upcoming album (out this summer), new jams from Kyle Megna and The Monsoons off their forthcoming album AND we'll kick it all off with some folk-grass from Feed the Dog Duo featuring Ellis and Tim!
General Admission tickets are just $10 (+ tax/fees) OR $5 (+ tax/fees) for 2018 Music-Makers with a special discount code sent via email. Seating for this show is limited and available to those with mobility restrictions. Select beer, wine, soda and water will be available for purchase during the show.
Lawrence University Artist Series: Colin Currie, percussion

Hailed as “the world’s finest and most daring percussionist” by The Spectator magazine, Colin Currie is the soloist of choice for many of today’s foremost composers. A champion of new music, Currie performs regularly with the world’s leading orchestras and conductors. A past recipient of the Royal Philharmonic Society’s Young Artist Award, Currie has premiered dozens of works. His discography includes 16 albums, including Jennifer Higdon’s Percussion Concerto with the London Philharmonic/Alsop, which won a 2010 Grammy Award. Currie recently launched his own record label as a platform for his diverse projects that celebrate the extraordinary developments for percussion music over the past century.
