The Morning Birthday Club airs in the final half-hour of Action 2 News This Morning. Pictures can be mailed to:
Birthday ClubPhotographs you send to us will be returned to you if you include a self-addressed, stamped envelope. We cannot accept e-mail photos or birthday wishes.
In your letter, include the person's name and birth date (you'd be surprised how many letters forget one of those two). You can include the person's interests and the names of the individuals wishing them a Happy Birthday, and our anchors will read as much as time allows.
|
| Sometimes you'll hear a wish for a "Golden Birthday." That's when the person's age is the same as their birth date (e.g., a child born on the 3rd of the month turns 3; a person born on the 24th turns 24). |
Saturday and Sunday birthdays will appear that day on the Morning Birthday Club in the second hour of Action 2 News This Morning Weekend Edition. Morning newscasts usually air on holidays, so birthday wishes will still air that day. In the event a morning newscast is pre-empted, wishes will appear the next day.
