ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - Bryan Hogan had 39 saves and the Michigan Wolverines scored goals shorthanded, on the power play and at even strength Saturday in beating Wisconsin 3-2 in the College Hockey Showcase.
Hogan earned both Showcase victories for Michigan (7-7-0), including Friday's 6-0 drubbing of Minnesota. The Wolverines improved to 20-13-1 at the Showcase.
Hogan was busy all night as the Badgers (8-5-1) outshot Michigan 41-35. Wisconsin's Blake Geoffrion scored in the second period to tie it at 1-1 and Derek Stepan's goal late in the third made in 3-2.
Matt Rust gave Wisconsin the lead on the power play at 6:02 of the second period and Luke Glendening scored shorthanded at 18:05 of the period. The Wolverines also scored shorthanded in Friday's win.
Louie Caporusso scored the game-winner at 11:52 of the third period.
Scott Gudmundson had 32 saves for the Badgers.
