WBAY-TV Green Bay-Fox Cities-Northeast Wisconsin News: Winnebago Co. Crash Severs Telephone Pole

The Winnebago County Sheriff's Department says a driver fell asleep behind the wheel, then crashed into a telephone pole Sunday evening.
The crash happened at Highway 44 and County Road M in Pickett. The collision happened just before 6:00 p.m. The crash broke the pole. Crews fixing the pole had Highway 44 closed until just after 3:00 a.m. Monday.
The 71-year-old Ripon woman driving the car suffered minor injuries and was ticketed.
