Just days after Donald Trump refunded wrestling fans for a show in Northeast Wisconsin, World Wrestling Entertainment says thanks to PMI and the Resch Center.
WWE superstar Hornswoggle a De Pere native presented PMI with a championship belt for its handling of the refund.
Trump's decision came as a surprise to the thousands of fans attending the show and made for a long night for Resch Center employees.
Director of Ticket Operations Charles Edinger says, "Shocking at first because it's the first time it's ever happened, but also it's great to see when your building can be on the map nationally as it has been this last week, it's great press for the local economy."
The total value of the ticket refunds was about $235,000.
